My parents and I were watching the movie "King Arthur".
At one point, the brave Guinevere looks over at one of the other characters in the story before proceeding to battle and says, "Don't worry, I won't rape you"
my mother, upon hearing this comment, rose in her chair and exclaimed in loud words:
"WHAT?!? Rape didn't exist back then!"
really? Oh, and I suppose the Plague didn't happen either....
